Kurort Hotel K P I wonder who would ever want to stay here? Phone: 7 (812) 434-1713 Rates: Double 996 rubles ($33.20); single 1072 rubles ($35.73); suite 1343 rubles ($44.77). The price includes 4 meals. Location Rating: I'll bet you 10 bucks you'll
never be able to find this place. It is in the northern suburbs with a
beachfront location along the Gulf Of Finland and it is far from the city. We
traveled really far down back roads and passed a security checkpoint where no
cars were permitted to pass. Our driver made it past the guard though and we
continued down the back roads. After asking a number of people for help, we
finally found it.
Proximity To Metro: Way far away from a metro station! Lobby Appearance: Fair. Big. Sort of old. Live plants spread around. Room Appearance: Old, plain, basic. Useful Nearby Businesses: None. The location is very isolated. Hotel Restaurants: A cafe, and a large, plain restaurant. Other Amenities: They have a library, a dancing hall, a billiards room and a chess or checkers room. You can also get medical treatments here. Would I Stay Here? No. Staff Speaks English? No. Comments: Security is good. There are 250 rooms, but the rooms are not that great. Frankly, there are much better places to stay. How do you like my picture? I took that in blizzard conditions, on the beach.
Rates: $35 to $45. Location Rating: Good. A park is right outside.
The Neva River is across the street. And mini-buses can take you to the metro in
about 10 minutes.
Proximity To Metro: Fair. We picked up the 16 mini-bus to go to Ploshchad Aleksandra Nevskogo Metro Station. We were informed by someone on the street that the 8 and 185 bus also went there. Lobby Appearance: Good luck finding the entrance to this place. It has no sign, and you can't just walk in the door. You press the intercom button and they scrutinize you with the surveillance camera. It took them about 4 minutes to finally unlock the door after our request to enter was made. Maybe they were doing last minute clean-up work? This isn't a typical hotel. It only has 10 rooms. And it is a very private place. Room Appearance: Dated, old, but very, very clean. Not bad. Useful Nearby Businesses: Our guide Elena accompanied me and we saw no useful area businesses with the route we took to this hotel. Hotel Restaurants: None. But they have a fairly large kitchen where you can prepare your own food. It appears to be fairly well equipped. Other Amenities: None. Would I Stay Here? Yes. A comfortable place at a good price. Staff Speaks English? No. Comments: Elena liked it and thought it was a good place. She liked the kitchen. The showers are small but passable; not modern, but clean. I didn't like the difficulty of getting inside and wonder if it would be hard for guests to gain entry during late hours. Another secret hotel. Why there is no sign out front, I have no idea. This place is not bad. Hotel Lel

Bad location. Plain accommodations.
http://www.private.peterlink.ru/spbnrs/ Rates For Foreigners: Single 750 rubles ($25); double 1200 rubles ($40); 2 room double 1500 rubles ($50). A deposit of half is required to reserve a room. Location Rating: Very poor. Far from the metro in an enormous neighborhood of big, ugly, soviet built apartment buildings. There is nothing beautiful or interesting here. Proximity To Metro: Poor. If you walk, it will probably take you a good 30 minutes. However the tram runs right in front of the hotel and it will take you straight there in about 10 minutes for just 4 rubles. Ozerky Metro Station. Lobby Appearance: Old, plain. Room Appearance: Basic. Clean. Nothing fancy. Useful Nearby Businesses: This is probably not a neighborhood you'll be dying to explore. Hotel Restaurants: They have a small, basic cafe. Other Amenities: None. Would I Stay Here? I'd rather not punish myself with the views of these unattractive surroundings. Staff Speaks English? No. Comments: This small 30 or 40 room hotel is owned by a medical institution and is situated next to a hospital in a courtyard (not facing the street). And when we visited, it was completely full. This is not the hotel of your dreams. The rooms are clean, but basic and dated. The surrounding neighborhood is a bit depressing... And the metro is too far. I don't think tourists would find it a pleasant experience to visit or stay in this part of Saint Petersburg. The surroundings are similar to Hotel Chaika's. Home Go To Moscow Hotel Reviews Next Page
