email: info@nautilus-inn.ru Street Address: ul. Rizhskaya 3 Location: Fair Nearest Metro: Novocherkasskaya (10 to 14 minute walk) Staff Speaks English? Some. Would I Stay Here? Yes. The Nautilus has 35 centrally air conditioned rooms and this hotel was opened on April 25th, 2003. It is a nice facility but the neighborhood is not that desirable and there is some graffiti on the buildings across the street. They have a small conference hall. Their fitness center has no fitness equipment right now. A sauna is available for 500 rubles an hour, which is a good price. A small pool for just jumping into and cooling down is also there (about 5 feet by 5 feet). I most enjoyed seeing their bar/restaurant. The lighting created a warm, cozy effect. And there are 2 small fish tanks there. A breakfast buffet is included in the room price. Bottled water is available in the hall. Of the rooms I saw in this building, I liked room 210 the best because of its little hangout area. Nice facility. But the neighborhood is not a travellers's dream. High season costs: 80 to 149 y.e. with y.e.

email: info@hon.ru Street Address: 90 Nevsky Prospect Location: Excellent Nearest Metro: Mayakovskaya Staff Speaks English? Yes. Would I Stay Here? Yes. The hotel is behind CafeMax - a terrific 24 hour internet cafe on Nevsky. You go into the courtyard and immediately bear left to find the door you need to pass through. The hotel is located on the third floor - no elevator. I like this facility. The first section opened in March 2003. The second section opened December 2003. Now they have 18 rooms. It is a cozy place. There are 2 really small kitchens areas where you can prepare your own meal. Breakfast is included in the room price, which currently ranges from 2590 to 4440 rubles (as of January 2004). Some rooms have a sauna. Compared to Nevsky 88 (Anabel), this hotel is a little bit better. Both hotels are off the busy Nevsky Prospect and the rooms face courtyards, so the outside noise will be quieter. Both have no air conditioning. Nevsky 88 is smaller, but has a nicer kitchen. But the entryway to 90/92 is easier on the eye. I also like the 2 story feature to 90/92... rooms are on 2 floors inside the hotel. And the entryway is closer to Nevsky, yet still far enough away to be distant from the street noise. In the photo above, turn right, then immediately left to entrance. Hire A Guide
